September Marks Fifth Consecutive Month Of Record Sales For Kia

For the fifth month in a row, Kia Motors America (KMA) has reported that the brand has set a new monthly sales record. Throughout September, the brand’s sales reached 49,820 units increasing 22.6 percent over sales from this month last year. Additionally, the brand’s best sales performance in history has continued throughout the third quarter of the year with Year-To-Date sales 7 percent higher than last year reaching 475,978 so far this year.

“In addition to the Labor Day weekend and strong consumer confidence, our sustained growth stems from buyers who are entering the market for the first time in years and discovering the transformed Kia brand,” said Michael Sprague, chief operating officer and EVP, KMA. “We’re on a mission to elevate brand perception to match the reality of our world-class products, and with the all-new 2016 Optima set to arrive in showrooms soon, we will continue to invite consumers to discover the new Kia

Kia Highlights:

• Sales of the Cadenza reached 859 units
• Sales of the Forte increased by 19.3 percent with 5,388 units
• Sales of the K900 487.5 percent with 329 units
• Sales of the Optima increased by 7.4 percent with 11,719 units
• Sales of the Rio reached 1,480 units
• Sales of the Sedona increased by 395 percent with 3,039 units
• Sales of the Sorento increased by 42 percent with 9,380 units
• Sales of the Soul increased by 26 percent with 13,614 units
• Sales of the Sportage increased by 6 percent with 4,012 units
