Kia reveals first images of all-new Niro Hybrid Utility Vehicle
Last week, Kia released a new teaser image of the all-new Niro Hybrid Utility Vehicle (HUV) that they will debut next month at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. This impressive new HUV was created through a collaboration between the brand’s design centers in California, USA and Namyang, Korea, and the goal was to create a dynamic design that would offer the traditional practicality and convenience of an SUV, but with a more luxurious look and feel.
This model has been equipped with a slimmer character line and rear windows, raised rear haunches, muscular wheel arches, high-mounted LED taillights, and a new downsized gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain that achieves a sub-90 g/km CO2 emissions rating. Overall, this model is meant to reflect Kia’s new dedicated eco-car platform and offer a glimpse at the direction they will be moving toward in the future.

Kia Motors America Ends 2015 with Record Sales
Kia Motors America has had another incredible year thanks to a strong 8 month streak of sales records to finish out the year and set an all-time best annual sales record of 625,818 vehicles. This was a 7.9 percent increase year-over-year, with much of its success thanks to the record setting December when Kia sold 54,241 vehicles and crossed over the 600,000 mark for the first time ever.
Throughout the record year Kia saw great things happen. The Optima saw record sales with 159,414 units sold and Soul sales saw increases for the sixth year in a row. Sedona sales also saw an increase of 150 percent and the Forte family of cars had its best year for sales ever. With many other accomplishments, it’s no wonder Kia had such a great year.

Kia Released Animated Driving Guide
Kia Motors is dedicated to ensuring the complete comfort and safety of each of their customers after they purchase a new vehicle. Kia also knows that it can take some time to get acquainted with a new vehicle especially if that vehicle is from a manufacturer that we have never owned a vehicle from before. In order to help customers with the transition to Kia, the brand has released a new Animated Kia Driving Guide Video on their YouTube page.
This new video is just over 12 minutes long and it offers a number of details tips on not only dealing with driving Kia vehicles but with driving in general. The video is broken down into four chapters that include Situation Before Driving, Driving, Parking, and Situational Driving. Each chapter is then followed up with three tips to that help with some basic everyday driving issues.

As 2015 comes to a close we would like to thank all our Destination Kia customers from Albany, Schenectady, Clifton Park, Queensbury and Kingston, NY for a great year and say Happy New Year. Our resolution for 2016 is to serve you all even better!
Remember when you were a kid and everything was new and exciting? Each day was a new adventure filled with all different types of experiences that helped to shape who we are in fun and adventurous ways. The excitement could come from something big such as riding a roller coaster or watching a live performance or something simple like learning to ride your bike or playing with a new toy. Either way, for most of us childhood was where our sense of anticipation and excitement first started to take shape.
Recently, the Kia brand decided that they wanted to bring that same feeling from our childhood back into our lives through their vehicles. In a newly released advertisement, the brand addresses this very issue in a unique way using childhood parallels to compare the feeling you get driving vehicles in the new Kia lineup to the feeling you had with all those new experiences from your past.

Top Safety Pick Rating Presented To Three Kia Models
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has presented three different Kia vehicles with a Top Safety Pick rating. The IIHS gave each vehicle a “good” score in their five crash tests (roof strength, head restraint, side, moderate overlap front, and small overlap front) before awarding them the Top Safety Pick overall rating. These three models are no stranger for safety recognition as they were each recognized by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as well with a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score.
