Meet the 2026 Kia K4 Hatchback: Ready for Albany, Ready for Anything

2026 Kia K4 Hatchback

The hatchback is back—and it’s not playing around. The all-new 2026 Kia K4 Hatchback is arriving late 2025, and we’re already excited about what it brings to the streets of Albany and beyond. This isn’t your average commuter car. It’s sharp, smart, and built to keep up with every part of your life, from weekday grind to weekend escapes.

If the K4 sedan got your attention earlier this year, the hatchback version takes things further. With a sportier stance, a standout floating roof design, and loads of usable space in the back, it blends utility with style in a way few cars manage. And thanks to the hatchback layout, there’s extra room to stretch out inside—especially for backseat passengers. You’ll also get over 23 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row, which makes grocery runs, camping trips, or airport pickups feel effortless.

Under the hood, Kia gives you two options. There’s a capable 2.0-liter four-cylinder for everyday driving, or if you’re looking for more zip, the available turbocharged 1.6-liter engine cranks out 190 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and feels quick without being over the top. The GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo trims also come with a sport-tuned suspension that gives you more grip, more control, and a more fun driving experience, especially on winding roads.

But it’s the technology that really makes this car feel next-level. The available interior display setup stretches across nearly 30 inches of digital space. It’s clean, intuitive, and loaded with useful tools. Add in features like the available 360-degree Surround View Monitor, Blind-Spot View Monitor with live video feed, and Kia’s Digital Key 2.0, and you’ve got a car that feels as modern as anything on the road. It also comes standard with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which means no more cords cluttering up your console.

Inside, it’s surprisingly upscale. You can equip the K4 Hatchback with available heated and ventilated front seats, premium SynTex leather, a Harman Kardon sound system, and even an ultra-wide sunroof. Kia has gone all-in on comfort without inflating the price tag, and that’s one of the reasons we think this will be a big hit for drivers here in Albany and across the Capital Region.

Safety doesn’t take a back seat, either. The K4 Hatchback offers up to 29 driver-assistance features, including 16 that come standard. It’s the kind of peace of mind that makes every trip feel more relaxed, no matter the traffic on Central Ave or I-90.

Here at Destination Kia, we think the 2026 K4 Hatchback is going to strike a chord with a lot of New York drivers. It’s flexible, future-focused, and fun to drive. And with Kia’s legendary 10-year/100,000-mile limited warranty backing it up, it’s also built to last.

Want updates on availability or trim levels as we get closer to launch? We’ve got you covered. Sign up now or stop by the dealership to learn more. The 2026 K4 Hatchback is coming, and it's going to change how Albany drives.

Destination Kia Celebrates Trinity Tarver as a Finalist for Albany’s 2026 Tulip Queen

At Destination Kia, community has always been at the heart of everything we do. From supporting local organizations and events to giving back throughout the Capital Region, we believe in making a positive impact beyond the dealership, which is why we are especially proud to celebrate our own, Trinity Tarver, for being selected as one of five finalists for Albany’s 2026 Tulip Queen. This prestigious honor recognizes young women who demonstrate leadership, community involvement, and a passion for serving others throughout the Capital Region. One of the five finalists will officially be crowned Albany’s 2026 Tulip Queen during the Albany Tulip Festival on Saturday, while the remaining finalists will serve on the Tulip Court. The Tulip Queen and Court program has grown into far more than a ceremonial tradition. Today, it is a meaningful initiative dedicated to literacy programs, educational projects, and community outreach efforts across the region. The women selected for the Tulip Court spend the year helping promote literacy campaigns and investing back into their communities through service and advocacy. That mission aligns perfectly with the values we believe in at Destination Kia. Supporting local families, schools, organizations, and charitable initiatives has long been part of our culture, and we are excited to support Trinity as she takes part in a program focused on making a real difference in the community. Anyone who has worked with Trinity knows how deserving she is of this recognition. Her leadership, energy, professionalism, and passion for helping people shine both inside and outside the dealership. Whether she is assisting customers, mentoring coworkers, or volunteering her time, Trinity consistently represents the very best of what community leadership looks like. Being named one of just five finalists is an incredible accomplishment, and the entire Destination Kia family could not be more proud. We are excited to stand behind Trinity throughout this journey and support the important outreach and literacy initiatives connected to the Tulip Queen and Court program. From everyone at Destination Kia, congratulations to Trinity Tarver on this outstanding achievement. We are cheering you on this weekend and look forward to seeing all the amazing things you will accomplish for the community in the year ahead.

2027 Kia EV3

The 2027 Kia EV3 Doesn't Feel Like an Entry-Level EV

Affordable electric vehicles have traditionally come with an expectation. Smaller screens. Simpler interiors. Fewer features. A design that reminds you where the vehicle sits in the lineup. The all-new 2027 Kia EV3 seems determined to challenge that idea. With available driving range of up to 320 miles, an available panoramic display spanning nearly 30 inches, flexible cargo space, thoughtful storage solutions, and an interior that feels far more premium than its price category suggests, the EV3 brings a fresh perspective to Kia's growing electric lineup. Drivers throughout Albany and New York's Capital Region have another exciting EV to look forward to. The First Impression Feels More Futuristic Than Budget-Friendly Some vehicles make their biggest impression once you start driving. The EV3 starts much earlier. Its sharp lines, distinctive lighting signature, flush door handles, available two-tone styling, and geometric details give it a look that feels more concept car than entry-level crossover. The design doesn't try to imitate larger SUVs. It has a personality all its own. It's the kind of vehicle people are likely to walk around twice before getting inside. The Cabin Doesn't Feel Like Price Was the Priority Step inside the EV3 and it's immediately clear Kia spent time thinking about the details owners interact with every day. Available synthetic leather seating, a relaxation seat, memory driver's seat, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, and smart storage throughout the cabin all contribute to an interior that feels intentionally designed instead of simply assembled. Even the materials and contrasting textures help create a cabin that feels more interesting than many drivers expect from an affordable EV. Technology Is Everywhere, but It Doesn't Feel Overwhelming Large screens have become common. Using them well is another story. The EV3's driver-focused cockpit comes with a dedicated climate display, keeping navigation, vehicle information, entertainment, and climate controls organized without forcing drivers to dig through endless menus. Wireless Apple CarPlay®, Wireless Android Auto™, available 3D Surround View Monitor, and Kia's wide range of driver assistance technologies continue that same philosophy. The technology is there to simplify everyday driving, not complicate it. Small Details Add Up Over Time Some of the most useful features aren't the ones that headline a brochure. The EV3 offers clever storage throughout the cabin, a flat floor that creates a more open feeling for passengers, and rear-seat accommodations that make good use of the vehicle's footprint. Those aren't flashy specifications, but they're the kinds of details owners tend to appreciate after living with a vehicle for a while. Range Anxiety Isn't the First Conversation Anymore For many drivers considering their first electric vehicle, range is still one of the biggest questions. The 2027 Kia EV3 helps answer it with available driving range of up to 320 miles, depending on configuration. That opens the door to commuting, weekend trips, and everyday driving with fewer charging stops than many people expect from a compact EV. Instead of asking whether an electric vehicle can keep up with daily life, more drivers are beginning to ask which one fits their lifestyle best. The EV3 Feels Like Kia's Next Big Step The most interesting thing about the 2027 Kia EV3 isn't that it's Kia's newest electric vehicle. It's that Kia refused to treat affordability as an excuse to lower expectations. The design feels distinctive, the technology feels current, and the interior feels like it belongs in something well above the entry-level category. Together, those choices create an EV that doesn't ask buyers to settle simply because they're shopping at a lower price point. Drivers interested in learning more about the upcoming 2027 Kia EV3 can stay connected with the team at Destination Kia, located at 760 Central Avenue in Albany, NY, as additional details become available. The first affordable electric vehicles asked people to compromise. The EV3 feels like it's asking a different question: what if you didn't have to?
