A lot of us in the Albany, Schenectady, Clifton Park, Queensbury and Kingston NY areas are running on not enough sleep because of our busy schedules. Whether it’s work or family obligations, we can’t always get the 7-9 suggested hours. One big problem with this is that drowsy driving is just as dangerous as drunk driving. It can lead to slow reaction time, decreased awareness and impaired judgement.
To ensure your safety, we suggest:
- Get 7-9 Hours of Sleep Every Night
- Schedule breaks every two hours or 100 miles
- Bring someone with you that can trade off driving and will chat with you
- Avoid all alcohol and any sedating medication
